Working for the man.

On any given Monday I wake up to the sound of a blaring alarm clock and look forward to the next ten hours (counting my commute) during which I’ll be harassed non-stop by obligations, coworkers, and superiors. Most of the time this is going on, I’ll be so frustrated at being here that I won’t get any work done.

But then again, I look back on the weekend and wonder why, when left to my own devices, I didn’t get any work done - and I wondered, if left to my own devices, if I ever would. I guess I’ll just swallow sadness - like a boss.
